Cbank official says ruble strengthening not really strong
MOSCOW, Jan 17 (PRIME) -- The current strengthening of the ruble is not strong, First Central Bank Deputy Chairwoman Ksenia Yudayeva told reporters on the sidelines of the Gaidar Forum on Wednesday.
“The current strengthening, the one that we see, firstly it is not a strong rise, secondly the oil prices are closer to U.S. $70 (per barrel),” Yudayeva said.
She said that ruble volatility depends on many factors including trade, current account and capital account balance.
